I am still waiting for my appointment to come the surgeon said 2 wks post opp today is week 1, i am in so much pain , i am tempted to as if i can go sooner the drugs all i am on is co -codamol 500mg 6hrly and in between i have been using ibuprofen400mg, when i have my foot elevated its not so bad, but when i put it towards the floor (not putting weight on) It feels like i am having my operated foot stood on or crushed, using crutches or the zimmer is so painful, i hate getting up even for the loo.
Today is the first day on my own, much as i love my little shitsu, she has been a pain as she wont come in when you call her from the garden,we live along side a public foot path, and she love to be there when kids go to and from school.

my arm is rather bruised but is fine now thank you liz.
I was told that after 2wks post opp i would see the surgeon and if all is well i would have a light weight cast fitted for 3mths and that this was to be non weight baring.
any way must go now grand kids just come in.

Take care Kelly, mind that foot, sorry to ask i am always asking has the pain eased off,? how long did it take? i know everyones diffrent, i was given no info on pain or what to expect, you normally get a sheet with some info on i didnt get anything. boo boo lol lol
xxxxx
